A review of the semi-annual activities of the Public Health Directorate

Under the care of Director General of the Public Health Directorate , Dr. Hassan Hadi Baqir , meeting was held to review the semi-annual events of Public Health Directorate with UNICEF in the presence of the concerned representatives of primary health care department and Health Promotion Department where constraints of work and implementation of events and future outlook and challenges facing maternal and child health ,immunization and health education programs. In addition to that , discussing the operational plan for the coming year was done In the same context, Director General met with advanced cadre of Primary Health Care and discussing on how to reduce infant and maternal mortality rates through the development of death certificate and improve the status of delivery rooms and the provision of ambulances to transport pregnant women to hospitals in remote areas
