Meeting of Higher Committee to control the cholera

Minister of Health and Environment presided over the meeting of the Higher Committee to control the cholera in the presence of the Director General of the Public Health Directorate , Dr. Hassan Hadi Baqir in addition to representatives of the Ministries of Defense , Interior, Education , Construction, municipalities , electricity , the Municipality of Baghdad ,the Commission decision of the Health and Environment Committee and a representative The World Health Organization in Iraq . During the meeting, Minister of health confirmed the occurrence of (50) cases in the whole of Iraq without registering deaths , also she explain the importance of concerted efforts of all ministries with the Ministry of Health and Environment efforts which would limit , control and prevention of epidemic diarrhea disease, which requires speed up prevention measures and control of the disease through the provision of potable water by the Municipality of Baghdad and sterile water tab were distributed (3 million tablets of them at Abu Ghraib)
